Mr. Agrawal brings nearly a decade of patent experience to a thriving practice in which he counsels a diverse blend of technology companies. He joined Bookoff McAndrews in 2012, after practicing for over six years at a global intellectual property law firm based in Washington, DC. He started his legal career as a U.S. patent examiner at the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.

Mr. Agrawal’s practice focuses on prosecuting patent portfolios across a wide range of mechanical, software, and Internet-related technologies. He has handled the prosecution of numerous patent portfolios, including those of Internet start-ups, growing industrial companies, and publicly-traded consumer companies. He draws from his experience with district court litigation and other adversarial proceedings to counsel clients on portfolio strategies, patent infringement, validity, and clearance, especially for clients growing into new business areas. Mr. Agrawal also has particular experience in patent transactions and related activities.
