Biography
Brian Frino assists clients with navigating all aspects of intellectual property, including patent prosecution, patent counseling and post-grant proceedings before the USPTO. Brian has broad experience across numerous technologies ranging from biotech to semiconductor design as well mechanical systems and consumer products.
Prior to joining BoMc, Brian worked as an IP litigator at a leading international law firm. As part of that team, Brian represented both plaintiffs and defendants before U.S. district courts and the U.S. Patent Trial and Appeal Board.

Highlights
- Managed the patent portfolio of a biotech company in international patent procurement, obtaining utility patents relating to various aspects of their eyesight restoring devices.
- Represented one of the world’s largest semiconductor design companies in their patent infringement lawsuit, ultimately achieving a favorable settlement on behalf of the client.
- Represented multiple pharmaceutical companies in Hatch-Waxman and biosimilar litigation, resulting in entry of generic and biosimilar products into the market.
