Today, BoMc celebrates its 10 year anniversary. In its first decade, BoMc has earned the admiration and trust of peers and clients with its thoughtful approach to patent prosecution and counseling. An approach that focuses on seeing the big picture, understanding stakeholder motivations, knowing the industry landscape, and treating its clients and team with care.
To commemorate this special occasion, co-founders Les Bookoff and Roland McAndrews share a few words with us:
From Les: “Ten years ago, almost to the day, Roland and I walked into BoMc’s first offices, having no idea what the future held for us. At the time, and over the following ten years, we surrounded ourselves with amazing people that have transformed a two-person shop into a world-class patent firm. I am truly grateful to everyone who has helped us along the way and hope we have exceeded your expectations.”
Roland shares some memories: “I remember those early days, late night, 2am, working on our first matters. I remember Les asking me how many Slim Jims we should order for the pantry. We’ve come a long way since then, and it’s all because of the people. We wouldn’t be here without great people, and I am incredibly thankful for everyone who has been a part of this journey with us.”
In 10 years, BoMc has grown from two attorneys to a diverse team of 77, obtained over 4,800 patents worldwide, and regularly appeared in some of the most prestigious legal rankings including Chambers, IAM Patent 1000, IP STARS, Law360, Legal 500, LMG Life Sciences, Vault, and more.
Looking to the future, BoMc continues to empower and invest in its team so that it can continue to provide exceptional service to its clients and stay on the cutting edge of new technologies.
